{Wall Inspiration}

Over the past few months, I’ve been redecorating our condo with photography (mostly black and whites – I love the nostalgic feel of a wall full of black & white images in simple frames). I wanted to share clippings of some very inspiring wall ideas I found to help me along the way.

Most of the frames below can be purchased at Pottery Barn (that’s where I got mine – great summer sales going on over there!) and also at IKEA. I hope these examples inspire you to fill that empty wall with some memories of your family. xoxo, Tami

I love the big white mats, with a smaller photo inside. This style with the larger mats is available at Pottery Barn.

What a great idea – a photo display above the kitchen table – after all, this is where we spend most of our time! Cooking, preparing, cleaning, I feel like I’m always in the kitchen doing something, or is it just me? 🙂I love the vintage and artsy feel of this low shelf with scattered frames in different sizes. Big portraits in child’s bedroom are a must 🙂 Wouldn’t you want to wake up to that adorable face everyday?

{Once upon a time…}

One of the things that made me fall completely in love in with photography was the way you can tell a story with photographs, especially with children. Every little expression tells part of their story. We can capture their emotion, personality, and imagination through photographs. So, this is a story of two little sisters, Piper & Harlowe. Miss Piper is going through a “dress- up like a princess phase” inspired by her favorite book, Fancy Nancy. And Harlowe happily plays along with her big sis! Children are only children for a short while, so document them as they grow to remember all their little fancy nancy stages – giggles of a 5-month old, the silliness of a 4-year old and all of the milestones in between).

{Boho Chic Beauty}

I’ve always been utterly inspired by the boho lifestyle. An unconventional life full of artistic pursuits and free-spirited adventures. I guess that’s why I left my corporate 9-5’er at an Advertising Agency to do photography full-time… to be able to work in wide open outdoor spaces filled with trees and sunlight is one of the greatest gifts I could ever get (so completely grateful!)

About once a week I go visit my horse friends at the Miami Beach stables (such a stress reliever!) After meeting this horse named, Molly, I knew I wanted to do a boho chic inspired shoot with her. Leidy (pronounced Lady) was the perfect girl for this shoot. She recently moved here from Russia and wanted some pretty pictures to send back to her husband who is still finishing up his degree over seas (I hope these will cheer him up!)

I styled the session with clothing from Free People and French Connection (love them!)

{Sibling Love}

Here are some of my favorite shots from a recent session with Brady & Riley. Big brother Brady was very protective of little Riley as we walked through the trails at one of my favorite parks in Aventura. We spent the afternoon looking for butterflies and simply enjoying nature!
